Members of the minority Hindu community have protested in Nilphamari demanding the release of Nayib-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana Delwar Hossain Sayedee. This procession rally was observed at 4 pm on Thurdsay the 7th of March, 2013 at Hortokitola Bazaar in Sadar upazila of Nilphamari. At least 150 people were observed taking part in the procession. At the end of the procession they assembled a gathering where the speakers demanded the immediate release of Allama Sayedee.
